Geared toward active adults and anyone who wants to improve general strength for daily life.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT

  • Core training is not like a class at your gym. Our limited class size allows the therapist to monitor form and adapt exercises as necessary. Classes are led by a licensed physical therapist to consider any pain or limitations specific to health conditions (i.e. rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, post-surgical, post-therapy, etc.) and make modifications.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Core training goes beyond strengthening abdominal muscles. We work hips, shoulders, back, and legs, translating the power from your core to the other parts of your body for improved function with daily tasks. We work on carrying, lifting, pushing, pulling, and stability, common components of functional activities. A strong core (not just abdominals) can help make activities in your life (gardening, hiking, playing with children or grandchildren) easier and decrease your risk of injury.
