
Sara Clayton
Director of Dance and Performing Arts
Sara has had a passion for dance since her childhood that has followed her into adulthood. Her passion for movement led her to pursue a career in Physical Therapy. She attended Missouri State University, graduating with her Bachelors in Science in Exercise and Movement Science with a minor in Biomedical Sciences. During her college years, she was a member of the Missouri State Sugar Bears Dance Team for four years, serving as Captain for two years. After college, Sara spent the next four years as a Kansas City Chiefs Cheerleader, serving as Co-Captain her fourth year. Sara graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Kansas Medical Center in 2019 and became a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) and a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) in 2022. She currently continues to teach dance at Fearless Dance Center in Raymore, Missouri. In her spare time, Sara enjoys spending time with family and friends, exercising, cooking, and playing with her dog, Bartholomew.
