Julie Buttell

CEO & Senior Physical Therapist

Julie's healthcare journey began in her grade school years as a volunteer at St. Jude Medical Research Hospital in Memphis, where she discovered the transformative power of physical therapy. She saw it as a wellspring of hope and joy for patients, with the genuine connections forged between physical therapists (PTs) and those they cared for leaving an indelible mark.

As a Tennessee native, Julie's career has spanned the nation, specializing in women's health, manual therapy, diagnostics, performance enhancement, and neuro-orthopedic motor control. With nearly two decades of experience, she excels in physical therapy, guiding clients to exceed their goals while preventing symptom recurrence and further injury.

Julie's dedication to excellence extends to mentoring fellow Physical Therapists. She serves on the Rockhurst Physical Therapy Advisory Board, authors works on physical health and longevity, lectures at local universities, and actively contributes as a healthcare innovation consultant. This commitment propels Julie beyond traditional physical therapy boundaries, employing a proven Neuro Orthopedic approach that benefits individuals from professional athletes to the elderly, enhancing their mobility and overall well-being.

Beyond her professional life, Julie finds solace in quality time with her family, including beloved dogs, and embraces her Italian heritage through homemade ravioli and the joys of cooking. Her diverse interests extend to literature, hiking, travel, and a dedication to regular workouts.
